How to Play Baccarat
Baccarat can be a complicated game for those who do not understand the game and the way it plays out. While it can be complicated, there are few tips that can get even the novice player at the tables and winning in no time.
The following are the basic drawing patterns for baccarat:
- When the players first two cards have a total of zero through five, the player draws a single card. When the players first two cards have a total of six or seven, they must stand.
- The banker's play is dependant upon their own hand, on whether the player had to draw a card, and on what card the player recieved:
- When the player did not have to draw a card, the Banker draws if he has zero through five and stands if he has a six or a seven.
- When the player draws a two or three, the banker will draw if he has a zero through four, and they will stand if they have a five through seven.
- When the player draws a four or five, the banker will draw if they have zero through five, and they will stand if they have a six or seven.
- When the player draws a six or seven, the banker will draw if he has zero through six, and they will stand if they have a seven.
- When the player draws an eight, the banker will draw if they have zero through two, and they will stand if they have three through seven.
- When the player draws an ace, nine, ten, or face card, the banker will draw if they have a zero through three, and stand if they have a four through seven.
